The NPD1 shoe supplies power to the NPD-8S distributor and has 2 outputs with TA4F (mini-xlr) connector mounted on the chassis. Using these connectors will allow you to get more power from the NPD-8S 8-Way Breakout Box, meaning you can use each output without the low current limitations of the Hirose connectors.

One of the TA4 connectors is controlled by a master switch that can manage the entire NPD-8S, allowing you to turn off the unit, including the display. The remaining TA4 connector on the NPD1 is not controlled by the switch and will still allow you to draw power from the battery.

An LED is equipped to show on/off switch. The LED will turn on when the power is on.
